are we all aware of jack's family dog? aka the most scottish dog to ever dog? have we yet considered the possibility of jack and tom and their terriers hanging out? because multiple terriers is a great detail for my favorite established couple sidepair.

okay, so now gimme the au where jack is obsessed with his friend's - we'll call him niall - dog, and always wants to hang out with the dog/take pics, and blah blah blah my brain's tired anyway they fall in love eventually the end

I LOVE IT!!!!!! also consider tho, nialls always wanted a dog but says it would be cruel bc he’s away so much, in steps (boyf? friend? your choice) Jack, who simply says, well i could watch him. now they’re basivally CO PARENTS

DOG CO-PARENTS!! INTO IT!!! jack sending niall daily dog updates, niall grinning down at his phone - at first because of the dog, but then because lots of the pics are selfies of jack and the dog. the dog slowly becoming Jack's dog, when it very much used to be Niall's dog. niall picking the dog up to take it back home after the tour, only the dog whines cos it misses jack, and niall driving back to jack's late at night because he can't bear the dog being sad. jack inviting niall to stay the night. ALL THREE OF THEM SNUGGLED UP IN JACK'S BED.

that is SO DAMN BEAITIFUL. god, jack feels like a one and done selfie man, not really checking to make sure it’s perfect, it’ll do, so it’s not even like half of them are even GOOD but that somehow makes niall stare at them even more. god there’s a few with the dog licking his face and jacks all scrunched up!!!
